Last month, I went with my family to Arizona. We saw Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and it was beautifully serene and majestic.
I didn’t actually have my DSLR for this one, but I got to test out the capabilities of my new iPhone 6 Plus. Not surprisingly (I love Apple), the photos came out really well (if I do say so myself).
Here’s my brother, Kenny, being an awesome model. It was, rather surprisingly, very cold in Northern Arizona (and it was a surprise, because I imagined warm, Western weather…oh, well). Utilize the weather, and play with snow! It actually took forever to get this shot right.
My favorite thing to do during family vacations: take photos of other people taking photos. This is because I hate posed group shots like this, but getting the photographer in the shot is a fun goal I make for myself.
Family selfies. Duh.
Another great example of my brother, the model. Look at him, contemplating the meaning of life (he’s actually probably thinking about lunch).
Again, another example of a photo of someone trying to take a photo, but with the added interest of a person in the air! My cousin, the girl in the photo, actually missed the moment of her dad in the air.
